Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains refund terms for optional paid features purchased on Broadcrowd. All payments for paid features on Broadcrowd are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, and payment collection on our behalf, and refunds (where approved) are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method.

1. Current Availability of Paid Features

Broadcrowd is in the process of re-enabling its paid features (such as Premium subscriptions and boost credits) under our new payment provider, Paddle. Nothing on Broadcrowd can be purchased, and no card will be charged, unless a price and checkout button are actively displayed to you and you complete that checkout. See our Pricing page for what is currently purchasable.

This policy applies to any paid feature from the moment it becomes available for purchase.

2. Subscriptions (e.g. Premium)

  • ·You may cancel a subscription at any time from Account Settings → Manage Subscription, or by contacting us
  • ·Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for
  • ·We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period you have already started, except as described below
  • ·If you are charged due to a verified technical error on our part (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you successfully cancelled), contact us and we will request a full refund from Paddle
  • ·First-time subscribers may request a refund within 14 days of their first payment if they have not meaningfully used the paid benefits

3. One-Time Purchases (e.g. Boost Credits, Service Credits)

  • ·Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or where a technical error prevented delivery of the credits
  • ·If credits you purchased were never added to your account due to a technical failure, contact us within 30 days for a full refund or replacement
  • ·Unused credits that later expire under our Monetization Policy are not eligible for a refund

4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@broadcrowd.me with your account email, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. You may also contact Paddle directly for help locating a charge, since "PADDLE.NET* Broadcrowd" or similar will appear on your bank/card statement.

5. Marketplace Transactions Are Not Covered by This Policy

Broadcrowd currently does not process payment for marketplace transactions between buyers and sellers (goods, rentals, vehicles, services). Those payments — including cash on delivery — happen directly between users, outside of Broadcrowd and outside of Paddle. This Refund Policy does not apply to those transactions, since Broadcrowd and Paddle never receive or hold that money. Disputes between a buyer and seller over a marketplace transaction are handled under our Terms of Service, Section 4.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly — this is faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in a temporary restriction on your account while the matter is investigated with Paddle.
