Job Requirements

Master in Science
2-3 years of relevant Experience
Short Operation theater courses and certifications

Roles and Responsibilities

Handle incidents, Infection control, O.T policies, Staff supervision, resource management and ensure patient care.
Facilitate and oversee activities pertaining to patient care.
Act as a clinical resource and support O.T. personnel in evaluating patients.
Schedule O.T. Technicians to guarantee sufficient staffing for each case.
Ensure the implementation of surgeons’ and anesthetists’ directives in accordance with hospital policies.
Supervise and train O.T. staff, including nurses, nursing aides, technicians, and CSSD personnel.
Maintain high levels of productivity and service quality.
Assist the Manager in formulating departmental budgets.
Identify and execute cost-effective strategies.
Reinforce O.T. standards and hospital regulations.
Establish and uphold suitable facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients, as well as the well-being of staff in the O.T.
Engage in both internal and external audits.
Assess the utilization of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Participate in management discussions regarding O.T. matters.
Monitor infection control measures (fumigation, sterilization validation, sampling).
Pursue personal growth through workshops and conventions.
Contribute to enhancing service delivery and patient outcomes.
Assist the Manager and HOD in meeting departmental KPIs.
Achieve annual financial and operational objectives as established by top management.
Ensure adherence to patient care, infection control, and quality standards.
